This lesson was very good and was valid for what I want out of this class. I liked the conversations with my "new friends" and did not feel pressure to talk, but was motivated to speak. The movement to the other stations kept my mind busy and my thoughts on what I needed to be working on. Good listening and good speaking!

I liked the repetition of tasks so that we became comfortable with the routine, i.e., what was expected per station.
I especially liked the expectation and opportunity for each member to state their own questions and observations.
I can see where the students would need structured practice in being part of a group experience where all take turns in participating and listening.

The activity was very informative and useful. I learned a different way to use primary source materials in my classes. It is something I could take and use immediately in my classroom. Often things discussed/taught in "these types of classes" are useless.

This was a good task. Primary for me is using enduring questions and authentic sources. The process of looking for detail, making connections, speculating on connections, and establishing the context of the source is central to practicing the skills of historical inquiry and developing historical knowledge. This results are meaningful skills and genuine knowledge about what history really is. It is much superior to superficial survey.

I am goingto use the learning inquiry process because it engendered more questions than answers. It was exciting to go through the process, to investigate each lesson. I would use this as an introduction to a unit. This activity has given me so many ideas.

I thought it was very well scaffolded and led us through the elements of this model if inquiry very effectively. It has given me a framework to use in developing my annotated resource sets for use with my students. I appreciate the depth of this model and am enthusiastic to put it to use.

I liked it overall. The inquiry method gave me several ideas to use in the class. A friend of mine and I were recently talking about what our main goals are as teachers. His assertion was that our primary goal of teaching is to help students learn how to think. I agree with him, and I find that inquiry based learning is a great way to teach students how to think. It goes beyond content (although it can certainly be used to teach and explore content), and focuses more on the fundamental level of making students turn on their brains.
